EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT SNOWSTAR

Welcome to Wisconsin's oldest and largest ski and snowboard school for young people, Snowstar Snow Sports School. The club was started in 1962 and is now the largest program of its kind in the state. In our program, members make new friends, learn proper ski & snowboarding skills, and participate in a sport they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. Our aim is to provide fun-filled days and memorable experiences.

WHY JOIN A SKI OR SNOWBOARD SCHOOL?
If you are going to ski or snowboard do it right!

Like most activities, skiing or boarding is learned best when it is learned right. You progress faster, it's easier, it's safer and you don't pick up bad habits. SNOWSTAR members will have the best instruction available from our own qualified professionally trained ski & snowboard instructors.

WHO CAN JOIN?
The club is open to young people ages 7 thru 18. The SNOWSTAR SNOW SPORTS SCHOOL presents a well-rounded teaching and recreational program stressing SAFETY, FUN and LEARNING.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The program consists of weekly one day, Saturday or Sunday, trips to various local ski areas complete with transportation, lessons and supervision. Members may choose either the Saturday program or the Sunday program. They have the option of switching days, just make your reservation for the date you wish to attend.
After completing a membership application and paying the annual Tuition Fee, members receive monthly pre-season newsletters along with ski shop discount coupons and information about sales and specials.
Starting in November, members receive a membership packet which includes an electronic Membership Manual (on our website), ID card, Equipment ID Stickers and more.

TRIP RESERVATIONS POLICY
All trip space is reserved and paid in advance on our website. You can sign up and pay for as many trips as you like. You can also pay as far in advance as you like and up until Thursday at midnight before a trip.
Please keep in mind that we cannot refund the entire amount of trip fees if canceled after the Thursday night deadline. We will refund all except the bus fees if the trip is run. If we cancel a trip due to inclement weather, we will refund the entire amount.

We have a form on our website for you to fill out in the event your member cannot make it on a trip you have already signed up and paid for. The form must be filled out before the trip is run to receive a refund. We will not refund if the form is filled out after the trip is run.
